Episode 2. Skittles and "The Table" short story.
In the first "official" episode, we sit down in the basement at Columbus Fire Station 17 to talk with Brian Weiskittle (Skittles) on the origin of the Kitchen Table short story, his career as a Firefighter and Paramedic, and we talk a little about the struggles of mental health that First Responders face and how Brian deals with that through his love of music!

Brian "Skittles" Weiskittle
Brian is a 27 year veteran of the Columbus Fire Department in Columbus, Ohio. Brian is an avid guitar player and songwriter. A few years ago, he wrote a short story simply called "The Table". This short story goes over the importance of the Firehouse Kitchen Table and all of its purposes both intended and unintended.
We talk about life, our careers and the stigma about mental health that looms over the Fire Service.
